What is it?
Bucket of Bread is a blend of certified organic flours in a 100% recyclable bucket. Choose from Traditional White, Hearty Wheat, and 7 Grains.
All you need to do is thoroughly mix in lukewarm water. Use either stand mixer with a dough hook or with a wooden spoon by hand. After resting 2-3 hours in the bucket with the lid is ajar, your mix is now a fully ready dough. There is no need to knead as the 3 1/2 pounds of dough is now risen to the top of the bucket. It's ready to use and really is that simple.
You may now bake your dough into anything you can imagine where dough is used. You may also follow some of the recipes on the Bucket of Bread site or get creative. You can also just follow the instructions as found on back of the bucket.
Since you probably won't bake using all the 3 1/2 pounds plus of dough, what you don't use right away lasts up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator stored right in the same bucket. Don't worry about another rising, it is still just ready for use. It is the ultimate meal preparation for baking as this allows you to have fresh baked goods within minutes.
