FIRST: Thank you for trusting Bucket of Bread (BoB) to provide you with quality dough mixes. Unfortunately, if you are here researching the return policy, it means you are for some reason dissatisfied. Please know your dissatisfaction is the last thing desired. Thankfully, all shipments are sent through the United States Postal Service using priority mail. Insurance is also included on your packages.
If BoB did something wrong concerning your dough mix order and you address it within 15 days from placing your order, BoB will replace the product entirely or provide you with a refund for the full purchase price less any discounts, donations, and shipping costs. To start the process, please have your order information readily available and use the contact form found on the website to send an email message.
Due to the perishable nature of the product, BoB is unable to accept any buckets sent back through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Also BoB just doesn't have control over any of the handling, long-term storage conditions, or methods used in preparing or baking your dough once received. There aren't any additional warranties expressed or implied so liability is limited to a refund of the purchase amount or replacement of the product when applicable.
Please understand if the order address is incorrect, this is a terribly unfortunate mistake. Please check your delivery address carefully when making an order. A refund can only be given to a correctly provided address confirmed on the order acknowledgement. BoB also cannot guarantee the timeliness or condition of the package if the delivery service needs to reroute or are provided an incorrectly entered address. Unfortunately, BoB is currently unable to ship to APO, FPO, DPO or international addresses.
When the tracking for your package is updated as "delivered" by the postal carrier, it triggers an automatic email from BoB to let you know about the new status. Sometimes, a package will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely.
If you receive the delivery email but have not received your package, please note that USPS delivery vehicles use GPS which may automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait another business day, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive on the following business day.
If there is still an issue with your delivery, contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office is better able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. The USPS is accustomed to these types of questions, and will generally provide helpful information. In addition, the USPS asks you complete their online help request form before you start a missing mail search. Please use a desktop computer to submit your form where your request will be sent to your local Post Office facility to help locate any missing items.
If the package still does not show up, please contact the USPS to file an official claim. To file a USPS official report or incident involving your missing package, please visit the USPS Missing Mail Website for more information. Then, follow the steps found at the USPS Claims Page to receive a case number.
